A note will go out asking if you want to write a short paragraph about your child’s needs to be completed by May 10th. This is not an opportunity to request a specific teacher. The paper will highlight the areas that are review when making placements.
After the teachers left the Brick Pavers Program was discussed. Nancy Hopkins reported that 110 brick were sold. Profit to date $3,740. She is reaching out to 208 Central graduates, preschool families, village board, retired teachers and administrator. On May 15th the contract for the playground will need to be signed. Bricks can be ordered till May 26th. This will be an ongoing fundraiser.
After much discussion it was decided that it would be up to the individual parents to decide if they want to contribute to a teacher brick. A parent collecting for a brick for a teacher that does not make the necessary $100 should see the PTA via Nancy Hopkins.
